CAN YOU PROVIDE BUDGET COSTS?

We can usually provide a lump sum fee for the structural and civil design work but this is not always possible. We can provide a budget costs for projects that have a few more unknowns and we sometimes suggest our work is completed on an hourly rate until the scope of services becomes clear but each project will be considered on its own merits.

We cannot provide information on the overall build cost and recommend you approach a contractor or quantity surveyor for this information.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

All projects are different so the overall design time can vary considerably. We always provide a timeframe within our fee proposal so you will know when to expect the information.

IS A SITE VISIT ALWAYS NECESSARY?

A site visit may not be necessary if the project is new and an existing building does not need to be considered. However, there may be other reasons for visiting site such as ground conditions, trees, topography etc so each project will be assessed individually.
