The domestic property required a single storey side extension, however due to site constraints and topography, the extension would need to retain around 1m of soil to the neighbouring property.
To achieve this, an integral retaining wall was designed to be erected a part of the cavity wall and prevented a path for ground water to create damp within the room. This solution eliminated the need for expensive tanking.
